Leesburg Flower and Garden show 2007

April 11, 2022
This was our first submission for the show. I had just started the business the year before. I was interested in doing something different. I had been admiring and studying traditional Japanese gardens. This was our interpretation of a Japanese tea garden. We were so excited to have finished in second place (missing first by 1 point). We sold the pergola on the spot to a B&B that overlooks the Potomac. The people who bought it would stop by our booth every year after that and let us know how many people got married under the pergola.
