THE PROCESS – LETʼS GET STARTED!
Step 1: Set up an appointment
The first step is to contact us to set up a free in-home consultation with one of our designers. At this meeting we will discuss your vision of how you want your landscape to look, function and feel as well as budget, construction, material and planting options. Our extensive client portfolio will help you fine tune your landscape-style preferences. Depending upon the scope of the project, the designer may be able to provide you with a concept rendering and estimate on the spot.
Step 2: Developing and Reviewing the Master Plan
More complex projects require a master plan. The master plan is developed after a thorough site analysis is conducted. Key elements of the site analysis include assessing architectural features of your home and property, sun and shade orientation, screening needs and soil, grading and drainage issues. The landscape designer will create a scale drawing based upon feedback from the initial consultation and the site analysis. A preliminary master plan is presented and discussed with the homeowner.
Step 3: Final Master Plan Review
A one of a kind scale drawing of the property, house and work to be performed is presented. Detailed estimates of all plant and construction materials and labor costs are also presented. Our designers can make recommendations for dividing the project into phases.
Step 4: Construction Begins
At Wildwood we value the consistency and efficiency obtained by keeping the same crews on the same job from start to finish! We guarantee that WE WILL NOT PULL OFF OUR CREWS TO WORK ON OTHER JOBS. They will remain on your job until completion. In addition to the foreman, the designer will visit the job site frequently and communicate with the crew and homeowner regarding the progression of the job including changes and or additional work requested by the homeowner.
Step 5: Years of Enjoyment!
Just like an artist who takes pride in their creation, we at Wildwood are equally as excited about the Master Piece created for you. Be assured that we do not consider a job complete until all construction debris, materials and tools are removed from the property. A final meeting between the homeowner and designer will take place schedule to go over the job and to discuss the care of plant and hardscape materials. If interested, Wildwood can provide maintenance services to keep your investment looking its very best.
